Jesse McCartney reads the children’s book
fave “Corduroy” to a few kids during ‘Read for
the Record Day’ on NBC’s Today Show in New
York City on Thursday morning.

The 21-year-old pop sensation helped Jumpstart’s
Read for the Record Campaign raise awareness of
the importance of early literacy. Other guest stars
included Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, LL Cool J, Mary-Louise
Parker, and Greg Kinnear.

Julianne Hough Announces AMA Nominees



DWTS dancer Julianne Hough announces the 2008 American
Music Award Nominees alongside singer Jesse McCartney on
Tuesday in Beverly Hills.

Leading the pack with five nominations was songstress Alicia Keys.
Other nominees included Chris Brown, Jonas Brothers, Mary J. Blige,

‘Revolutionary Road’ Movie Poster Revealed



Scope out the new movie poster for Revolutionary Road,
the upcoming drama reuniting Titanic duo Leonardo DiCaprio
and Kate Winslet. Titanic was the biggest film in box-office
history back in 1997, so Leo and Kate have a lot to live up to!

According to USA Today, “Road tells the story of a young, successful
couple living what appears to be a thriving life with their two children
in 1950s Connecticut. But the mendacity of their suburban living sends
them to France — and their relationship into a tailspin.”

The trailer debuts this Friday (tomorrow!) with Keira Knightley’s
The Duchess.

Movie tidbit: Pop singer Jesse McCartney’s younger brother, Timmy,
is said to star in Revolutionary Road, but his role in the film is still unknown.

Jesse McCartney has taken on T-Pain, covering the rapper’s hit song “Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin’)”.

“It’s got a nasty groove to it,” the 21-year-old pop singer said of the song. “It’s fun, so we’re going to put our own little spin on it.”
